Why does the air conditioner smell?

- System pressure test,
- Leak detection (dye/nitrogen test),
- Leak repair,
- Vacuum + correct amount of gas filling,
- Oil and performance control.
When to change the compressor?
The compressor is an expensive part and latest is the suspect component. If it does not activate, first check the electrical supply, clutch, pressure sensor and fuse. The decision "The compressor will be changed" is made only after these checks.
Use it in winter too
The air conditioning compressor should also be run regularly during the winter months: a few minutes a week is enough to lubricate the seals and keep the system leak-tight. Additionally, air conditioning is much more effective at defogging in winter than hot blowing.
