Symptom or diagnosis in DSG?
DSG transmissions (DSG-6 wet, DSG-7 dry) are comfortable and fast; However, if maintenance and parts selection are not done correctly, it produces costly malfunctions. Common symptoms:
- juddering / vibration, shaking when taking off and in stop-and-go traffic
- Knocking, delay or failure to shift gears

How do we diagnose it?
- Reading fault log: Error codes and adaptation values in the transmission computer.
- Live data recording: clutch temperature, pressure, slip and clutch wear values.
- Oil and filter control: oil color, odor, metal powder and level.
- Mechanical control: clutch measurement and mechatronics removal if necessary.
- Road test: driving conditions that confirm the diagnosis.

The two most overlooked tasks in DSG maintenance
Oil and filter maintenance: Oil change on DSGs depends on mileage and usage condition; It is required earlier for heavy use in the city. In wet DSG, filter and oil are evaluated separately, in dry DSG, mechatronic oil is evaluated separately.
Adaptation and software: If adaptation (calibration) is not made after clutch replacement or mechatronics repair, the vehicle will continue to vibrate. Half the process is adaptation; We confirm this with road testing.
Warranty on DSG works
For parts and labour used in transmission works, in case of a manufacturing or workmanship defect, replacement applies.
