Mechatronics or clutch?
Most car owners with flickering DSG come with the information that "mechatronics is gone." However, the same symptom can also be caused by clutch wear, oil-filter exhaustion or loss of adaptation. Misdiagnosis leads to unnecessary and expensive mechatronics replacement.
To distinguish, we look at three data:
- Clutch wear values: How close to the measurable wear limit?
- Pressure and temperature data: Does the mechatronic pressure keep what is desired?
- Adaptation / calibration: Have the grasping points been learned correctly?
Clutch: in what situations does it change?
- Irregular shaking and shaking upon takeoff
- Wear values exceeding the manufacturer's limit
- Oil leakage or traces of burning on the clutch pack
- When the gas is applied, the speed increases but the vehicle does not accelerate (slip).
After clutch replacement adaptation is essential. The shaking returns in vehicles that are road tested without adaptation; That's why the last step in the process is always calibration and road testing.
Mechatronics: repair or replacement?
Malfunction in mechatronics; It may be in the valve body, pressure sensors, solenoids or the electronic board. If water/oil has leaked into the card, repair is risky and replacement is required. Component-based repair is possible for valve and sensor-related malfunctions.

Post-transaction warranty
Workmanship and parts used in transmission works, in case of a manufacturing or workmanship defect, replacement applies. Upon delivery, it is stated in writing which components have been changed and which have been repaired; the road test result is shared with you.

Will mechatronics break down again after it is repaired?
If the source of the fault is eliminated and oil/filter maintenance is performed on time, the probability of recurrence decreases. For mechatronics whose electronic card has become waterlogged, replacement is recommended instead of repair.
How long does a clutch replacement take?
The process varies depending on the transmission type; We plan the clutch replacement together with adaptation and road testing. When making an appointment, we determine the approximate duration and delivery time together.
Does every vibration in DSG require clutch replacement?
No. Some situations improve with adaptation and oil maintenance. The final decision is made after reading live data and clutch wear values.
